Refund Policy

1. Overview

Ask it ("the Service") is operated by Univated LTD. The Service uses a credit-based billing system where you purchase credits to analyse YouTube videos. Each video analysis consumes one credit. Credits are a digital good and are non-transferable between accounts.

2. Credit Packs & Pricing

We offer the following credit packs:

  • Starter: 5 credits for $4.99 ($1.00/credit)
  • Popular: 20 credits for $14.99 ($0.75/credit)
  • Pro: 50 credits for $29.99 ($0.60/credit)

New accounts receive 5 free credits upon registration. Free credits are not eligible for refund.

3. Refund Eligibility

You may request a refund for a credit purchase if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The request is made within 14 days of the original purchase date.
  • None of the purchased credits have been used (i.e. your remaining credit balance is equal to or greater than the credits included in the purchase).

If you have used any of the credits from a purchase, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion for the unused portion.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with the following information:

  • The email address associated with your account.
  • The date and amount of the purchase you wish to refund.
  • The reason for your refund request.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.

5. Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method. Once a refund is issued, the corresponding credits will be deducted from your account balance. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • All purchased credits from the transaction have already been used.
  • The refund request is made more than 14 days after the purchase date.
  • Your account has been suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Free signup credits or promotional credits.

7. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension of your account pending investigation. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks that we believe are unwarranted.
